HLTH4700: Global Health Paper
This assignment was the semester-long project I worked on in my Global Health class. We were able to pick a country, and through the project/paper learn about the current health status of the country, and some ways they are striving to improve. We use the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to guide our research. This project gave me a lot of insight into different global issues that need addressing, and some ways my target country is trying to combat said issues. In the future, I would like to pursue a job in Global Health, and I think this paper showed me what it would be like to research in the field and conduct an analysis of specific countries.
HLTH3400: Intervention Plan
This assignment features a Health Promotion intervention plan that served as the semester-long project for this class. We worked with partners to form a full-length health program targeting a specific need in a specific population using class content to help guide our planning. This intervention plan includes the program mission, goals, and objectives as well as a complete guide of materials, dates, and session information to implement the program. This was the last assignment I completed in my undergraduate studies and was a great way to use the skills and knowledge I had learned over the past 4 years.
